I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a peaceful and relaxing location. The sound of the river flowing right under my window was a soothing touch of nature that I absolutely loved. The hotel's remote setting away from the downtown area allowed me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of nature. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, from the warm welcome I received upon arrival to the efficient room service and housekeeping throughout my stay. The complimentary shuttle service was a convenient bonus, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding area. The hotel's amenities, such as the on-site spa and wellness center, sauna, and open-air bath, provided the perfect way to unwind and relax. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was also a great feature that allowed me to stay connected during my stay.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

During our recent stay at La Vista Akangawa, we had the privilege of experiencing the greatest hotel view we have ever seen. From our room, we were treated to a breathtaking scene of a whitewater river flowing through a lush forest. It was truly unforgettable. To top it off, we had a private onsen in our room, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The hotel also provided a family onsen with a river view, adding to the amazing experience. The complimentary late-night ramen was a delicious treat as well. we highly recommend this hotel for its stunning views and incredible amenities.

We had an unforgettable stay in a remote location by nature with the sound of the river flowing right under our window. The room and bathroom were spacious, cozy and with an amazing private onsen. Attentive service, fabulous food, and great facilities. Beautiful Japanese breakfast, served to us instead of a buffet. We enjoyed the private onsen and the public one. A great base for trekking and sightseeing. We even spotted deer from our window!
We missed the chance to rent a car and explore the surroundings even more.

Being surrounded by nature, I appreciated falling asleep to the sound of the river flowing right under my window. The cleanliness of this hotel was impeccable, and the staff was always ready to help and answer any questions I had. The breakfast, served to me instead of being a buffet, was exceptional and genuinely superb. The hotel facilities, including the indoor and outdoor onsen baths, were outstanding.
No negatives from this hotel; it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

The hotel had a romantic feel with a beautiful scenic view which made our stay very special. We also enjoyed the delicious, fresh seafood which was a highlight of our dining experiences. The location was perfect with easy access to the main attractions in the area.
The room we booked specifically for a king bed was not prepared for us on arrival and we had to wait until the second night to use it. the yukata provided was not very comfortable, which made it challenging to fully relax and enjoy the experience.

The river view from our room was stunning and we could hear the soothing sound of the cascading water. The private onsen baths were a delight as we preferred a private bath. The staff was friendly and polite.
The hotel did not have enough illuminated parking space which made it difficult to park the car at night. the lack of English instruction guides or signs was challenging and would make it hard for non-Japanese speaking tourists to navigate the area.
